Trick Or Trick of the Day: Many parents across America accepted Jimmy Kimmel’s challenge to troll their kids by telling them that they ate all their Halloween candy.

Needless to say, the news did not go over well at all.

Ten Years Later: A Tribute 9/11
My favorite 9/11 tribute in New York City can be found in Bryant Park. 2,819 empty chairs on the lawn facing the site where the World Trade Center once stood, one chair for every life lost. The number of empty chairs captures the enormity of the lives lost and the stark emptiness of it just drives home the point that I hope is never forgotten. 2,819 people were here one moment and gone the next. 2,819 went to work or boarded a plane one morning ten years ago thinking it would be another ordinary day and they never came home.

Pictures taken only hours ago of family members at the World Trade Center Memorial fountains where the names of those who lost their lives are engraved along the edges. I think these are some of the most powerful photos I’ve seen…

I want to provide a little theological background about what Justin Bieber said…

Various Christians believe the ‘Trinity’ is a group of three divine beings, comprised of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (there are other Christians who believe they are all one and the same, and not separate beings - those are the ones who do not understand Bieber’s reference here).  The Father is often referred to as ‘God’, a separate being from the Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit.

From my limited experience with Bieber, it seems like he’s a conservative evangelical Christian (I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a devout Catholic though), I’m sure with great influence from his mom.  His reference to ‘God’ is like a reference to the Father, with a separate reference to God’s Son, Jesus.  The fact that the Bible uses the phrase “God’s Son” and “Son of God” many times throughout the New Testament proves that Justin Bieber’s turn of phrase is correct, and those mocking him are likely misinformed or are just jumping on the train.
